Emotional stress release

An easy kinesiology technique that works

This is the easiest and most effective stress release tool you will ever learn. Why? It’s quick, you can do it anywhere, anytime and it works!

Place your hand on your forehead - that’s it!

This calming technique activates the frontal lobe of the brain, supporting logical thinking and problem-solving. It helps shift activity away from the back-brain stress response associated with fight, flight, or survival mode.

It may seem to simple but the body responds when the nervous system is being supported, the mid naturally becomes clearer and more resourceful.

Try it -

Close your eyes and lightly place your hand on your forehead. Focus on a problem - see the details and make it real. Continue holding your forehead as you breathe and relax. Notice yourself feeling calmer, with greater clarity and access to new ideas and solutions.

You can use ESR for past, present, and future stress events, including job interviews, exams, athletic events, and when resolving old or recent hurts and misunderstandings.

Other benefits include:

  • Re-balances our emotions

  • Releases built up energy

  • Lifts mental fog

  • Feeling of lightness and relaxation

  • Clearer vision

  • More acute hearing

  • Reduces or erases biochemical triggers to old stress memories

Even when I’m feeling calm, I use ESR as a gentle reset - I’ve used it many times while writing this blog.

Children, in particular, respond quickly and easily to this technique, and my teens use ESR regularly during exams, study, and whenever they’re feeling overwhelmed.

The body has an incredible ability to regulate and heal when given the right support. Calm, clarity, and balance are achievable using simple tools such as ESR.
